Just a great place for holiday (Riikka U. - 24.06-01.07.2016)

We spent a great week in this beautiful villa with 6 adults and 7 kids. Villa was excellent; there was plenty of room in four different apartment and a very nice get together-place outside. Everything was clean and nice. The pool was great and very clean. The villa was in a very peaceful place, however, it took only a while to drive everywhere. Kate, the owner of the house, told us where to go, and we found many beautiful beaches where was hardly any tourists. Our village, Cilipi, was a very nice place, and we could walk to the center of the village to eat and see traditional Croatian dances. It took only 5 minutes to drive to the airport and 15-20 minutes to Dubrovnik. We just enjoyed the week and could come back any time!

Absolutely ideal! (Stephanie I - 26.05.-02.06.2015)

Absolutely ideal!

We were a group of 11 people and we occupied all 4 apartments for 1 week. The apartments are all modern, fully furnished, spacious and really clean. The pool area was fantastic - perfect for sunbathing and for going swimming. The pool was also extremely clean. Although the airport is close by, we weren’t at all disturbed by the noise from aircrafts.
The location is relatively remote and quiet but there is a shop only about 10 mins walk away which has everything you need. There are also some nice restaurants near the supermarket. There are beaches close by, around 20 mins walk away which have really nice views and places to go swimming in the sea. It took us around 30 mins in a mini bus to get to the city of Dubrovnik so it’s easily accessible and there are numerous bus links you can take.
Kate was an absolutely fantastic host. She organised our transport from the airport (as we were such a large group) and greeted us at the villa. She told us lots of information about all the interesting activities you can do and places you can visit, which was really helpful. She also organised the trip that we went on (the 3 island one!). She was an extremely attentive host, always checking to make sure we had everything we needed and were enjoying our stay. It was one of the girls birthday while we were there and Kate organised a birthday cake and made sure she had a special day, she went above and beyond her role as a host.
We would highly recommend these apartments to both smaller and larger groups! Each apartment is has enough privacy that you wouldn’t get in the way of other people but they are also great for groups like us. You are guaranteed to be looked after extremely well by Kate! Her kindness and hospitality massively  contributed to the enjoyment of our trip!

Ideal family holiday rental (P.B. - 06-12.08.2015)

Ideal family holiday rental

Our two families (seven of us) shared the two ground floor apartments. Owner Katie Peric went out of her way, when we were booking, to ensure our teenage boys didn't have to share beds. The place is very close to the airport but the plane noise is not an issue. Pool was very clean and pleasantly warm. The two apartments were well maintained. The terrace we shared together was a lovely spot for meals. Village up the hill was within easy walking distance with a nice supermarket and a welcoming pizza place. The best part was Katie Peric, the owner, who was friendly and helpful and had many useful ideas about where to go (e.g. local beaches) and what to do (even got us bus and ferry times). The local "gastro tourism" place she recommended at a nearby farm/vinyard provided an extraordinary vegetarian meal for us one evening. Cavtat was fun to visit but, of course, Dubrovnik, 30 mins away, is as spectacular as everyone says. The owner made the holiday very special for us.

Fantastic Location (Tony C - 18-25.07.2015)

Fantastic Location to Dbv, Konavle and Montenegro

We took this villa as a family of 5 – but you can easily get 12 people staying here. The reason for our oversizing was that initially we were looking for a villa for extended family staying but for various reasons they could not make it. Even so, if you are a smaller party of 6 or less I wouldn’t discount considering this place.
We have visited various areas of Croatia before and I can say that this area is special due to its location in the Konavle area but close enough to Cavtat and Dubrovnik if you want the sea and the restaurants/nightlife.
Firstly, a description of the house – the villa is divided into 4 separate apartments, each one has a master bedroom with double bed and a bed settee in the lounge. Each apartment is air conditioned in the bedroom and lounge. The 2 upper apartments open up on to a large sun terrace with tables and parasols overlooking the pool, the 2 lower apartments open onto a patio with tables shaded by the sun terrace below. We went in the middle of a heatwave with temperatures ranging from 28C at night to 40C in the day. The patio was a welcome addition!
Each apartment is tastefully decorated, very clean and has a cooker and fridge.
The pool is one of the best we’ve ever had (we’ve been to many villas) is a decent size and there are plenty of sunloungers around the pool, it’s cleaned regularly.
Some people may be put off as Cilipi is close to the airport. I can tell you that we’ve also stayed in Cavtat previously and there is more noise from aircraft there than there is at this villa. This is because at Cavtat the planes are flying over low for the landing, and at the villa, it is situated at the other end of the runway in a dip with Cilipi between the villa and the airport so that any noise from takeoff in minimised, and even so the noise lasts less than a minute. This airport is not Heathrow and the frequency of air traffic is surprisingly very low (we were there at peak season), there may be 3 planes in one hour and for the next 6 hours maybe one or two, or even nothing. Flights finish at 11pm so you’ll not lose any sleep. I found the ‘planes we did see an interesting distraction. The added bonus is that when you arrive or depart it’s a 5 minute maximum drive.
The owner Kate is one of the most genuine, and loveliest people we have ever met, and only wants to ensure that her guests have the best stay possible. Although we wanted for nothing, we knew that if we did need something she would get it. Thanks Kate - we will return

Fabulous holiday (Wendy H - 14-28.06.2015)

Fabulous holiday, stunning area, impressive host

Date of Stay:  June 2015

Apartmani Peric – 14th June 2015 to June 28th 2015

This was our 4th stay in Croatia, but our 2nd stay in the Konavle region (the 1st time 2003), and it didn’t disappoint.
The villa was an exceptional traditionally built house separated into 4 well equipped, fully furnished apartments set at the edge of a forest leading to the Konavle coast.
On arriving at the villa Kate greeted us and kindly went through the history of Cilipi and the surrounding area, highlighting various attractions in the Dubrovnik/Konavle region, as well as advising us on the best way to get value for money when our party were visiting local attractions.
There was a good sized pool at the rear of the apartments, which was maintained both by Kate each evening and fully cleaned every other day.  The pool was used frequently every day, and loved by all in our party. Both the pool and the apartments benefitted from the sun all day.
It was a very kind and lovely touch by Kate and her family to spend time showing our party the very beautiful coast, and also the adrenaline park for the children in our party.  Both were much appreciated by our party, and we were grateful that Kate considered our party to be one of her priorities during our stay. Kate was available 24/7 for whatever we required, and she was exceptionally attentive ensuring that we were enjoying our stay.  We didn’t encounter any problems during our stay, which our party considered was wholly attributed to Kate caring about her guests and her efficiency.
Despite the close proximity to Dubrovnik airport (a reason that a few guests do not book with Kate), there was very little noise from planes landing or taking off.  In fact the planes were a lovely distraction for the children in the party who stopped what they were doing to follow the planes to try to identify them all.

I would without hesitation promote Apartmani Peric to anyone wishing to spend a holiday in the south of Croatia because it was undoubtedly like a home from home.
It was an experience our party would like to repeat thanks to Kate for her hospitality, attentiveness and kindness.

An amazing experience in Cilip (Caitriona F. - May 2014)

The individual apartments were of very high quality, exceptionally clean and very well stocked. The location is excellent. Less than 10 minutes drive to the airport, 5 minutes walk to the picturesque village of Cilipi and less than 20 minutes drive from the beautiful town of Cavtat. Dubrovnik Old Town is about 25 minutes drive away. The pool was clean and all of the facilities were of a very high standard.

Kate was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Two of the highlights of our trip were the two activities that Kate organised for us. One was attending the traditional dance display in the village of Cilipi. The second was a traditional meal, also in the village of Cilipi.

Kate was on hand for directions, recommendations, information and generally made our stay very smooth and hassle free.

We would love to visit again!

Very convenient location (Michael A. - August 2013)

Clean,spacious rooms.Very convenient location.

We are a family of 4. Kate let us have the two upper level apartments ( one for my wife and I and the adjacent one for our teenage children).
The rooms are perfectly big enough and clean. There is a decent pool --which is essential for us !--and the upper balcony was a nice sun-trap ...especially in the morning for breakfast. One can buy groceries in the local village of Cilipi and use the kitchen facilities which are well equipped .
It is generally a peaceful location but the road it is on is much busier than you might think initially. Take care parking up outside !

Kate is really helpful . She arranged boat tickets for us to Dubrovnik Old town and told us where we could walk or drive to including a lovely coastal area .Unfortunately, she was unable to fix us a local rustic family meal which can be arranged for little cost that gives you the experience of Croatian 'Home Cuisine '.

This was our second trip to Croatia for holiday and in 2009 we based ourselves the whole time close to Dubrovnik. This year we divided the holiday into staying in different locations . We started at Kate's which is just minutes from the airport but you would never know it was there since you don't hear it from the woodland. We also took a rental car. It is very easy to drive around Croatia . On a few occasions , we very much enjoyed the short trip down to Cavtat and found one of our favourite restaurants of the entire holiday there on Kate's advice.

Croatia is a place we would return to and I hope Kate is still there if we do !

Nice appartment, good location (Andrew K. - September 2013 )

"Nice appartment, good location, lovely week"

The appartment is modern, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The location suited us perfectly; secluded but still convenient for the local attractions. Don't be put-off by the proximity of the airport, flights are infrequent and not in the least intrusive. When we stayed in September we had the advantage of having the pool to ourselves, except for the mosquitoes - take some insect repellent!
Kate, the owner, was extremely helpful and informative; She even took it upon herself to sort out a mix-up with our car hire.
All in all, a delightful stay.

Apartmani Peric (Sirpa Y. - July 2013)

We had a nice holiday in this beautiful villa. We rented the whole villa which was excellent idea for 4 adults and 3 kids.

We used one apartment as a “living room and kitchen”  for all of us and stayed overnight in the others.
House was new and very well equipped. Swimming pool was clean and big enough for us. Especially kids they really enjoyed it.
Everything worked so well. Kate was so helpful and very kind person. She organized everything we needed on the spot – even when my daughter needed a doctor and medicine.

We visit in one local family (Ruralhousehold Bakicevo- family Vukorep) where we had a birthday dinner. I can really suggest that for dinner place.
We spend some time on the local beaches (no tourist at all – only local people) which were so beautiful places. We rented a big car and visited in Cavtat village, Dubrovnik, Montenegro and some other villages. Kate gave us plenty of good tips how to find nice places, where to eat and enjoy the local atmosphere.

Cilipi is very nice and small village. There is PEMO-market, Post-office, small tourist shop, three cafes and one pizzeria and beautiful church. We visited in the center several times and enjoyed very good pizza and cold beer in Tata Mata restaurant. My husband went to the barber’s and he was very satisfied for that (haircut was only about 6€).

All the local people were so friendly. I mean really friendly! I was running three times in Cilipi. You can do that if you wake up early in the morning and go to the direction “Luka beach”.

I suggest this villa and place for everyone – for couples and families. If you’ll have two families rent the whole villa then you’ll have your own privacy.

Airport is very close but it doesn’t disturb at all.

I hope this helps you Kate! You made us a perfect, awesome holiday.  Thank you.

Mondern roomy apartm with pool (Karoly D. - June 2013)

We ( couple with 15 year old boy)  spent 1 week in Cilipi by Peric apartments end of june this year. We deliberately selected a place which is calm but near Dubrovnik and Montenegro, has its own swimming pool and not a crowded a hotel thing what we do not like.
The apartments is new, really nice and roomy, also bathroom is big. Kitchen is modern equipped, air conditioning works perfect. Swimming pool got above our expectation, they clean it every day, we played a lot there. There are 2 nice and almost empty beaches in few minutes drive there where you can for example jump from rocks in to the water.

So everything was perfect and there is one big extra plus point, the owner itself. Kate is not just giving you the keys and says hello but recommends beaches, restaurants, programmes etc in the region which we really appreciated.

A fantastic place to stay (Carey L - June 2013)

The apartment was perfect in its location, a few minutes by taxi from the airport (yet very little airport noise!) in a peaceful lush setting, a few minutes walk into the village of Cilipi where we enjoyed the local folk music, craft market and pizzas. Cavtat was 5 minutes by car, with a with plenty of restaurants to choose from, and regular boats into Dubrovnik, a very relaxing way to see the city. We swam in beautiful nearby rocky sea coves, and relaxed by the pool. Kate was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. She organised a cultural evening with a local family which was one of the highlights of our holiday (especially the carob and orange liqueur..) as well as an entertaining boat trip. She had many other suggestions of things to do whilst in the area, we only wish we had had more time....We would highly recommend Apartmani Peric as a place to stay

A great location to stay (Erwin G. - June 2013)

Apartments Perić are situated in the little village Čilipi, in the Konavle region, the southernmost area of Croatia.

We have stayed here for 12 nights in these apartments. There is plenty of room in the apartments, and they are equipped with everything you need on a holiday: bathroom (with washing machine), bedroom, a spacey living room with kitchen and, depending on the apartment you have chosen, a terrace or balcony on the south side. And there is a swimming pool to cool down a bit in hot times!

The owner Katija is very helpful in everything you need: questions about the apartment, about excursions and about good restaurants in the neighbourhood.

The apartment (there are 4 apartments in one house) are situated in a quiet area. There is a road with not much traffic and the planes of the nearby airport will hardly bother you. Besides, at night the airport is closed anyway.

Yes, it is a remote village and yes you'll need a car, but it gives you the great opportunities to explore the beautiful rural Konavle-region, to have dinner or a walk along the "riva" in nearby Cavtat (from where you can easily reach Dubrovnik by boat), and to visit the neighbouring countries.

Čilipi is a small village with a supermarket, a small but good pizzeria, some bars and every Sunday the well known folklore, which is included in the price and a must-see for everyone who wants to meet the Croatian culture.

A Fantastic Villa (Ed B. - July 2012)

I stayed in Apartmni Peric with eight friends for five nights and we had a lovely stay. The villa is made up of four separate flats, all of which are well-equipped and spacious. You can rent individual apartments or the entire villa (as we did). There is a village with a supermarket located very nearby and a beach and pine forests in the surrounding area.

We had a great time lazing by the pool during the day and eating dinner on the balcony at night. The owner Kate is extremely friendly and helpful and really helped make our stay even more enjoyable.

I highly recommend this villa.

Charming Countryside Villa (Karla H. - July 2012)

Staying at the Villa was the perfect location for our vacation in Croatia. We were able to experience the lovely culture of the country and enjoy the amenities of having a beautiful place to stay.

The Villa was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Having a kitchen with a microwave and dishes made it easy to enjoy several relaxing meals on the deck with food purchased from the local market. Also the convenience of the washing machine was an added bonus.

Kate, our hostess, made a number of suggestions of places to visit and experience that truly enhanced our stay in Croatia. We will definitely come stay here again on our next trip to Croatia.

Beautiful,clean poolhouse (Carin O. - July 2012)

Beautiful,clean poolhouse with fantastic host!

Two swedish families travelling together on our first trip to Croatia. Even though we were looking forward to swim in the crystal blue adriatic sea our kids also wanted to be able to swim in a pool. When we searched for lodging with a pool it turned out to be quite hard to find. When we saw this place we knew we hit the jackpot. This beautiful, new white stone house is very modern, clean and comfortable- a true gem!
After long , fun, sunny, warm days by the sea it was a blessing to return to relax in the pool and prepare dinner. The kids loved it and us parents enjoyed the eccelent kids entertainment it provided. Early in the morning us two mums enjoyed swimming for exercise.
The lovely host was fantastic! She provided very good suggestions on where to go and what to see. She is relly looking after her guests- she even gave us a birthday cake with funny plates and pink spones!
She also arranged the boattickets for us to go to Dubrovnik! A fantastic way to arrive right in the centre of the city.
The host also gave good suggetion on what beaches to go to. The top spot was a gorgious pebble beach just 10 minutes drive from the house. The beach access was on rocky stairs by the ocean wirh an iron gate through a short cave-magnificiant!
On some of the evenings we went the short drive to cosy fishing town Cavtat with restaurants and and outstanding icecreamparlour.
We really appreciated our vacation at this house! We would love to return and we would highly recommend it!

If you need cool holidays (Lhuisset R - July 2012)

If you need cool holidays , in a very nice place

First . Home easy to find , near the aeroport of Dubrovnik ( but not too close ! )
Everything in the flat is exactly how it's describe on the internet site .
The property seems to be brand new ( and ... it is ! )
We warmly recommend this location , for the flat , with a very nice pool , and even for the landscape .If you know the Corsica Island , it's looking like the same ... but nicer . Stone beaches are AMAZING , you can safely dive from where you want , the point of view are wonderful , and a little bubble beach near the home ( 5 kms away ! ) has to be seen .
Do you know waterpolo ??? No ? but Croatian people do , and you will find a waterpolo site on every beach , they play this game everywhere !

After this , not so far , you'll easily take a boat to Dubrovnik ( from Cavtat harbor ), instead of taking your car ( never take your car in Dubrovnik ) , and then , you'll find a so nice town , the nicest old town around mediteranean sea .
Take your time to visit Cavtat , and if you've rented a car , drive to Montenegro , to visit Kotor Bay , the water in this fjord is incredibly blue and clean .

What else ? , Kate is very kind with you , and will give you very good advices , to take a look around her home .
On sunday morning , in Cilipi , you'll find a folkloric fest , take you're breakfast on the main place , it's wonderful , people are very kind , even to take a picture in their folkloric costumes .
Really , we've seen 2 locations in Croatia ( the other near Split ) ... and this one was the nicer , unstressful .

Visit Dalmatia coast ... and come back sleeping in this home , and loose your stress in the pool .

Thank's Kate .
Take care

Our memorable visit to Cilipi (Josephine - August 2012)

I stayed at the apartmani Peric for a week's holiday with my husband, sister and brother-in-law,the apartment is very well appointed and comfortable, clean and modern, and the owner Kate was very welcoming and took great pains to ensure we were comfortable and informed of the places of interest and recommended trips and activities. and we were enchanted by the village and the wonderful people especially in the little restaraunt and local bar. We were very pleased with the private pool which we used every day, as it was so hot. We were also able to get to Cavtat very easily and enjoy the stunning views and local facilities, we enjoyed looking at the wonderful yachts in the harbour. we also had a mini tour of the nearby villages and dined in a picturesque village, overlooking the river, sampling the local wines and beers! We have been sharing our enjoyment with friends and family ever since we returned home, and are looking forward to returning to continue our exploration of this beautiful country,

Apartments Peric Cavtat/Cilipi (Christine H. - August 2012)

We had a lovely stay at the apartments. It was very peaceful and the perfect place to relax. Kate was very helpful and helped us find accommodation for our onward travels.
The apartments are very clean and well equipped with outside terrace or balcony. Nice restaurant and bar up in the village square and supermarket there also. Montenegro, Cavtat and Dubrovnik all very close and worth visiting as well as the beaches that Kate recommended.
A great place to stay!

“Séjour agréable” (tourcoing - August 2012)

Appartement neuf, lumineux et climatisé avec une décoration contemporaine. Tres belle salle de bain. Grande terrasse aménagée avec vue sur piscine.
Accueil tres sympathique de la propriétaire.
Séjour tres agréable.

Apartmani Peric near Cilipi (HOWARD G. - August 2012)

We wanted an apartment for two people in a quiet location but with more than just a terrace or balcony to lie in the sun. Apartmani Peric fitted the bill and it had a pool in which to cool off as well.
The comprehensive listing about the property was accurate in terms of the facilities there. Good size double bedroom, plenty of room to sleep two more people in the spacious lounge, well equipped kitchen, large bathroom with multi-function shower, TV and Hi-Fi, very efficient air-con.
We were in one of the two ground floor apartments with a private terrace, views over the garden and surrounding countryside and easy access to the pool area.
The property was well maintained, clean and everything worked.
The owner, was very welcoming when we arrived and gave us advice and tips for our stay. Several leaflets and guides had thoughtfully been left in the lounge.
There is just enough room at the front of the property for four small/medium cars.
Larger vehicles might struggle to fit in the parking area which is right next to the road.
The apartment is under two miles from the airport so you have to be OK with aircraft taking off during the day. It is near to a small supermarket in the centre of Cilipi, although up a steep hill. There are also a couple of restaurants in Cilipi. A walking trail passes close by the apartment which takes you to the coast or along a path to Cavtat.
A car though is essential. Cavtat, the nearest town, is only a ten minute drive away. Dubrovnik takes about thirty minutes plus time to find a parking place. We followed the owner's advice and took the boat from Cavtat straight to the harbour in Dubrovnik old town.
There are numerous restaurants in Dubrovnik, Cavtat and the surrounding countryside. We often ate on the terrace in the evening but when we did go out, the restaurant 'Ivan' by the harbour in Cavtat and the Konoba Vinica in the village of Ljuta about six miles east of Cilipi stood out.
If you want to explore further, the road past the apartment leads to Montenegro (about 30 minutes away by car) but like in many parts of Dalmatia, the road near the border is being improved and is difficult to drive over. We travelled into Montenegro and Bosnia in our ten day stay but be prepared for slow driving and queues at the borders (three between Dubrovnik and Mostar in Bosnia).
We would thoroughly recommend Apartmani Peric to a friend or relative coming to this part of Croatia.

Beautiful Apartments (Phil D. - August 2012)

We had a great weeks stay here at these lovely apartments which were a traditional looking modern build. It was very clean, tastefully furnished with all the facilities you could require - all in perfect working order. Whilst the apartments are situauted only 5 - 10 minutes from the airport there was no real disturbance from aircraft noise. The local village centre, approx 2km away had a mall supermarket, cafe / bars, museum & church. Cavtat which is 8km away was a lovely town with lovely scenery & Dubrovnik was 20 km away & must be one of the most picuresque places we've ever visited. Kate, the owner, could not be more helpful & was very keen to make our stay enjoyable. The pool, although shared with other apartments, was a good size, cleaned regularly & with plenty of sunbeds for guests. All in all a great place to stay & we will definitely return - highly recommended.
